Michael Barach, Venture Partner Michael is a General Partner with Village Ventures, operating as a Venture Partner to manage the Inflexion Fund. He is an experienced venture investor and entrepreneur.
Michael joins Inflexion from Bessemer Venture Partners, where he was a partner from 1994-1998. Michael also served as president and chief executive officer of MotherNature.com from 1998 through 2000, and was instrumental in raising $113 million in funding for the company in three rounds of financing and an initial public offering.
Michael holds a B.A. from Amherst College, where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He received his juris doctorate from Harvard Law School and a MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar.
Michael is based in Massachusetts and is responsible for the firm’s investments in New England, Upstate New York, and Florida.
